Savannah: Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 2nd at age 40. Jason is survived by his parents John and Linda Wright of Savannah; his wife Melanie Levesque Wright of Auburn; sons Jason Allen, Gage Lee, Brett and Kendrick John; brother Petty Officer Gavin James Wright (Kassandra) U.S.N., grandparents Dorothy and Allen Bently of Cayuga; nephew and niece Austin and Samantha Ruth; step mother Jean Guck Wright; step-brother David Guck; uncles Melvin Wright, Allen Bently; several other aunts, uncles and cousins; and his former wife Dannett Williams. Jason was predeceased by grandparents Earl and Edwina Wright. An Army veteran, Jason had received the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Badge for rifle and pistol, Driver and Mechanic Badge, Armed Forces Service Medal, NATO Medal and Army Lapel Button. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday March 10th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street in Savannah, where his funeral with Military Honors will be held at 8 p.m.
