Obituary of Kathleen Grace Wren

Sodus NY: Passed away peacefully at the age of 71 in her home in Sodus, NY on October 1, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary Verhagen; her husband Ed in 2002, and her son-in-law Jason Davis in September of 2020.  She is survived by her three children; Robert (Marisa) Wren of Williamson NY, Jennifer Davis, and Matthew (Brenda) Wren of Sodus NY; grandchildren; Kaiden (Ashley) Davis, Jenson (Alyssa) Davis, Kiersten Davis, Kamren Davis, Lauren Wren, Jackson Wren, Grace Wren, and Ethan Wren; great grandchildren; Mariana Davis, Mirabella Davis, and Derek Davis; siblings, Inez Verhagen of St. Petersburg, FL, Timothy (Carol) Verhagen of Dansville, NY, Michael Verhagen of Sodus NY, along with many nieces and nephews.  

Kathy was a graduate of Sodus Central School and attended Mohawk Valley Community College. She worked for Xerox and was also a dental assistant for Dr. Pawlicki in Sodus.  She was a mental health advocate working for New York State in both Albany and Seneca Falls. 

Kathy loved Sodus. She was a second mom and grandmother to so many kids in the community and loved by many dear friends. She will be deeply missed!

Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 7th from 5:00-8:00pm at Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street Sodus, NY 14551. A funeral mass will be Thursday, October 8th at 11:00am at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 105 W Main St, Sodus, NY 14551.
