Wolcott: Passed away peacefully at home on March 11th, age 73 with his wife and family at his side. Richard was a 30 year employee at Xerox in Webster. He was a member of the Elks, and the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working outdoors. More than anything Richard loved his dog Dizzie.
Predeceased by his father Emery, and by his brother George, Richard is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Susan Moreton; his mother Hester Moreton; sons Richard (Marcia), Randy (Stacy), and Rodney; daughter Renee (Harvey) Downs; eight grandchildren; sister Joan (James) Sterling.
Richard’s family wishes to thank all of the family members and close friends who helped during his illness, and the staff of Lifetime Care. All services will be private. Donations in his memory may be directed to Finger Lakes Hematology and Oncology, 6 Ambulance Drive, Clifton Springs, NY 14432. Arrangements: Norton Funeral Home of Wolcott.
