Sodus: March 4th, 2008 in Georgia, age 45 unexpectedly following a brief illness. Tim is survived by his wife Ayahna; children Alexandria, John Eric, De’Antrez, Imani & Zaniah; his mother Katherine Jackson; brothers and sisters Clarence, Earl, Carrie (Bernice), Lee (Wendy), Addison “Ed” (Denise) Gloria, Albert (Raelynn), Billy (Deserae), Laurie (Will), Angela, Jackie, Sherri, Trent and Devin Williams, Robert Harris; nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and friends. A 1981 graduate of Sodus Central School, Tim was a U.S. Army veteran where he had served as a military police officer. His military citations include the Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Army Commendation Medal. He was a Police Officer in Georgia, employed by the Butts County Sheriff’s Office at the time of his death. Tim previously worked for the Jackson, Georgia and Sodus, New York Police Departments. Visitation will be held on Friday March 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. His funeral will be on Saturday, 1 p.m. from the Sodus United Third Methodist Church. Interment with Military and Police Honors will be at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery.
