Obituary of Sue Ellen Gibson

Please share a memory of Sue to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Early Monday morning, July 26th, 2021, our Mother Sue "Suzy" Gibson (Disbennett) passed away quietly in her home in Wolcott, NY. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1955, the youngest of nine siblings, she is predeceased by her parents, two sisters, one brother, several dancing nieces and of course, Josie and Sue. A beautiful, patient and kind Mother to Karrie Edwards, Layla (Jake Henry) Edwards and Jason(Shanell France) Edwards. Loving grandmother to Draven Tilley, Tristan Sarlls, Lilly White; Bella, Jacob, Nolan and Serenity Edwards. She is also survived by her sisters, Connie Davis and Sheila Ray; 3 brothers, Merle "Butch", Kenny (Paulette) and Keith Disbennett; along with her long time buddy and love, Ed Gibson.

Her cremains will return home to be laid to rest at the Centerburg Cemetery in Centerburg Ohio on August 6th, 2021 at 11am. A gathering in her honour is being held afterward at the Centerburg Park. A celebration of life in New York will be determined and announced at a later date. Please come and share a memory with us. Thank you all for your love and support during this time.

Rest in Peace Mother and keep dancing.

Love, Karrie, Layla and Jason
