Obituary of Geraldine T. Tuper

Sodus: Age 69, passed away on Monday April 8th at her home surrounded by her family. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 50 years Wayne Tuper Sr., originally from Fort Covington, NY; daughters Brenda White of Newark, Tina Tuper (Randy) of Sodus, Wanda Budinger (Jim) of Sodus; sons Wayne Tuper Jr. (Holly) of Sodus and David Tuper (Kayla) of Fine, NY; grandchildren Danielle, Eric, Sarah, Rachel, Jessica, Lindsay, Matt, Wayne Tuper III, Vinny, Jordan, Brooke and Landin; great granddaughter Ella; brothers and sisters Larry, Jack, Bonnie, Connie, June, Margaret, Pauline, Emma and Darlene. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents Howard and Irene Gardner, brother Donnie Gardner and sister Alberta Diaz. Geraldine was a caregiver as a home health aide for over 40 years, 27 of which was devoted to hospice care. Her family wishes to thank very special friends Wayne and Andrea Vermeulen, and the staff at Lifetime Care for their compassion. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday April 15th from 4-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. A graveside service and committal will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Immediately following, a reception for family and friends will be held at the Alton Fire Department. Please bring a dish to pass.
