Himes & Johnson Families,
I heard of Richard’s passing some time ago, but I wasn’t sure you would accept my sincere condolences. I loved your family, they treated me like I was just one of the family. I enjoyed the time when Richard and his friend came out to visit and we showed them what “Wonderful Wyoming” had to offer and the time he took me up to his cabin in the mountains which we argued over the rest of the day! Mountain? Hill? He had fixed it up so nice and it was beautiful up there on the hill and he was so proud of it and couldn’t wait to retire and I am so happy he got to live out his dream. And then he took us out to dinner close to his cabin which was quite comical, none of the tables, chairs, plates, glasses, cups really nothing in the quaint little place matched! The food was great though. Hope you are all doing well sitting around your back porch relieving all the memories your wonderful family shared through the years.

Himes Family,
I know my condolences is rather late but I recently heard of Dick’s passing and I am so sorry. I enjoyed spending the times we had together visiting at your Mom’s, his cabin in Osceola and the time he and Sharon came out to Wyoming. I really didn’t even mind her yodeling. Remember all the cherished memories your family shared over the years and know he will always be in your heart.

He will missed by all who knew him. Everytime I talked with Dick, I learned something new whether he was chastising me or just talking about family. Enjoy your new journey my friend.

We met Dick at Cedar Pines back in the '70s when my wife worked there. Always enjoyed his warm, friendly personality, and his humorous stories. He will be missed by all ! Payers and condolences to his family.
