Obituary of Christopher Wilkes Hough
Mexico: Age 41, went home to be with Jesus on January 20, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette; daughters, Emily, Brieanna, Kayleigh and Kyleigh; mother, Brenda Fitzpatrick; brother, Joseph Hough; father-in-law, James (Marlena) Race; mother-in-law, Sandy (Mark) Michnick; brother-in-law, Jason (Nichole) Race, aunts; Barbara (James) Norton and Sandra Leo; uncle, William (Julie) Foster; niece, Jaden Wyman; many cousins; and a host of other relatives, extended family and dear friends.
Chris was a gentle giant with an infectious smile that would put you at ease. He was larger than life and a big kid at heart. He loved sports, life itself, but most of all he loved his family. He was an amazing father to his 4 beautiful daughters. He will be missed by everyone, and we will all have huge void in our lives that he once filled. However, as his wife stated on the morning of his passing “My words escape me and my heart aches that you are gone. I know you are no longer in pain and that you are sitting at the feet of Jesus, smiling and in perfect health. That gives me great inner peace. I love you always and forever.” So please find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain despite how we all feel.
Friends and family are invited to call 10:00am-12:00pm Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Abundant Life Christian Center, 7000 All Nations Blvd, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
