Obituary of Linda Ann Arliss

Clyde: Passed away on Saturday March 22nd, age 59, at the DeMay Living Center in Newark following a lengthy illness. Born October 31, 1948 in Lyons, daughter of the late Ward and Ethel Bundy Syron. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Clyde High School, and the E.W.V. Business Institute in Newark. She had worked for the Wayne County Cooperative Extension Service, and then at the Savannah National Bank and Bankers Trust in Clyde.
Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years A. Jerry Arliss; one Aunt, Evelyn Bundy of North Rose; and cousins Ken and Carol. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Colvin-Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street in Savannah. Linda’s funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Barbara DeAngelis of the Clyde United Methodist Church officiating. There will be a reception for family and friends following Linda’s funeral at Donselaars in Clyde. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory should be directed to the Clyde Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 145, Clyde, NY 14433.
