Obituary of Scott Kent Lockwood

Wolcott: Age 47, passed away March 12th peacefully at home with his family by his side.

Scott was born in Newark, NY to Robert & Mary Lou (Crane) Lockwood.  Scott was an avid chicken farmer alongside his son.  He was a member of the Wolcott Fire Department for 29 years, Wolcott Ambulance for 30 years, and an elder of the Wolcott Presbyterian Church.  He enjoyed spending time with “the boys” at hunting camp, on the golf course, and in the bowling alley.

Scott is survived by his son, Sebastian; father and mother, Robert & Mary Lou; brothers, George (Eva Cooper) and Michael (Chantel); sister, Susan (Ray Holcomb); nieces, Brianna, Marissa and Eliana; nephews, Brian, Jordan and Harrison; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Scott was predeceased by his loving wife, Gabrielle; grandparents Harold & Helen Lockwood and Freddy & Dorothy Crane and Aunt Barbara Crane; and uncle, Ron Miller.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wolcott Fire Department, Lakeshore Ambulance or Wolcott Presbyterian Church.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 18th, 2022, at the Wolcott Presbyterian Church, 11988 W. Main St., Wolcott, NY 14590. Friends and family are also invited for a time of reflection and refreshments at the Wolcott Fire Department following the service. Arrangements entrusted to Norton Funeral Home, Wolcott, NY.
