Sodus: Age 94, passed away on June 22, 2022 at Newark-Wayne Hospital. David is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Steighler; daughter, Karen Leuzie; brother, William; sisters, Mary and Ruth; son in law, Ken Leuzie; and daughter in law, Rita Steighler. He leaves behind son, Robert Steighler, grandsons, Nick Steighler, Alex and Myke, Jason Leuzie; and great grandchildren Sienna and Nolan Steighler.
David was long time resident of Wayne County. He worked as a muck farmer for years. Also, worked at Plassche Lumber and Williamson Lumber well into his 70's.
He knew everyone and will be greatly missed. Per his wishes, there will be no services.
