Obituary of Leroy Tommy Hines

Leroy Tommy Hines was born September 12, 2022 in Newark New York to Lucy Lee (Taylor) Hines and the late Harry Lee "Big M" Hines.  Leroy departed this life on October 1, 2022. 

He is predeceased by her father Harry Lee Hines Sr., brother Harry Lee Hines Jr, sisters Catrena Hines, Lucy M Snead, and Easter Hines.

He leaves to mourn the passing of his daughter Romeka Hines, Mother Lucy Lee Hines, brother Anthony Hines, sisters: Sally (Daniel) Jenerson, Elizabeth Hines, Barbara (Juan) Guite, 10 nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Today, our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved father, brother, son, and friend Leroy. His quick-wit, sharp tongue, and clever sarcasm will be greatly missed. We will remember his warmth, love, and generosity. 

Leroy’s greatest pastime was fishing and rooting for the steelers during NFL season and the K during NBA.  

Leroy graduated from Sodus High School.  After school he enlisted in the United States Army.During his enlistment he toured Germany and Korea during his 7-year term. 

Leroy was a protector and provider and will be greatly missed by everyone.
