Obituary of Robert Osborn Prindle

Wolcott/Savannah: Age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday morning (January 16, 2023), after a short battle with cancer.

Bob was born on June 15th, 1942, in Lyons, N.Y., the son of Frances Elizabeth (Osborn) and George Raymond Prindle. Bob was raised in Savannah, NY and graduated from Savannah High in 1960. He retired in 2006 from the Village of Wolcott, as the Highway Superintendent. Prior to the village he worked for Doty Sand and Gravel for several years. Since his retirement from the Village, you could find Bob working on heavy equipment and doing repairs for Dan Sanzotta. Bob was also a member of the Wolcott Elks Club and retired from the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Jonathon) Webber, Robin (Dennis) Deshong and stepdaughter, Melissa (Marc) Mein. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, loving sister, Rebecca Fesseden; best friend and companion, Diane Knapp. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia; brother, Donald; and his parents.
