A delight. I was in his first class at SCS and later he was our class advisor. We retained a cordial friendship since then & I appreciated his interest in what I was doing out in the world. I also appreciated his nice friendship with my mom. They shared committees and had a wonderful time discussing issues of all kinds, both local and national. He will be missed by his students and the town and residents he served. Thank you, John, for all you accomplished.
Our sincere condolences.

God Bless You John, you were a good friend and mentor during my early years at Sodus H.S. I often followed your lead which meant we had a 50/50 chance of being right. All your students and the Sodus Community will miss you greatly.
You and Mary take good care of each other and do not let Larry Davis lead you astray.

Q: What will you never forget about John?
A: I remember his sense of humor. But most importantly, I remember what a sweet, lovely couple Mr. and Mrs. Cook were together. I still have a bracelet they gave me for my high school graduation 32 years ago that will always remind me of their kindness. I find consolation that they are reunited. My heart goes out to MB, Jeff, Julie and all the family, my thoughts are with you xoxox
