Howard Elwell, 97, passed away early Monday morning May1, 2023 at Wayne County Nursing Home.
Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday, May 16, 11 – 11:30 AM at the Wolcott Presbyterian Church, 11988 W Main St, Wolcott. A church service at 11:30 with a military service to follow. Burial will follow at the Second Milo Cemetery, Milo, NY.

Howard was born June 13, 1925, in Cohocton NY, the son of the late Alred and Inez (Aldred) Elwell. He served our country in the US Army for one year earning the rank of Private. He retired from Internatioal Paper Co., in Geneva and driving for the local Mennonite families. He enjoyed singing/karaoke and going dancing.
He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 31 years Ellen (Jones) Elwell; his daughters Evelyn, Victoria and Leona; his sons Walter and Marshal; a sister Elsie Wilson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
