I met Laurie when I worked at Xerox with Yvonne. Always will remember that she was a very dedicated nurse to my daughter Lindsey whom she took care of in my home until Lindsey passed. Used to see her at BJs and we caught up on things concerning our families. My condolences to your family. Janis Goranowski

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Laurie while we served on the Wayne County Board of Supervisors. I found her to be honest and dedicated in serving her town and all the residents of Wayne County.
Laurie was personable, funny and passionate. We engaged in many difficult discussions and we didn't always agree. However, we never lost sight of service to others. Laurie was strong and courageous in dealing with her health battle. She was an inspiration to others.
God Bless Laurie and her family.

Laurie was fun to be around. She could tell family stories and made them so interesting that you didn't want her to quit. She told us a story about her son Mathew and his ducks that I almost cried from laughing so hard. She was a very thoughful and kind person. She was about the first person to go see our daughter when she was in a Syracuse hospital after a horrible car accident. Our daughter thought that was so special. I would have loved to have even one quarter of her personality.

Dear family we will miss Laurie’s love and laugh for the rest of our lives. We will never forget how she made room for everyone in her life and how she lived as an example. She made a difference to so many as a nurse, as a mother, grandmother, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, niece, friend, neighbor and community leader - so many facets of a full life of service and love. There is a huge void no one else can fill. Love you much, Laurie. Ernie & Deb
