Willie James White

Rochester/Sodus:

Willie White, 73, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Rochester General Hospital.

Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday, July 25 from 1 – 2 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street, Sodus.  A funeral service will follow at 2 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private in the Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

Willie was born January 10, 1950 in Sanford, Florida, the son of the late Thelma White-Martin.   He worked at Mott’s in Williamson for 29 years.

He is survived by his caregiver and cousin Joyce D. Whitfield; his sister Brenda Simmons; his brothers Tommie (Jessette), George (Shirley) and Timothy Martin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides his mother Willie is preceded in death by brothers Sam Jr., Norris and Tyron Martin.
