It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Douglas Scott Crane, who left us on November 9, 2023. He was 44 years old.
Doug was known for his exceptional chess skills and his appetite for debate. He had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor - his antics were legendary and those who knew him have their own stories to tell. Doug is survived by his mother, Carmel, his siblings Gemma, Logan and Fletcher, and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
Doug will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Our hearts are so broken by this unexpected loss. In typical Doug fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined. Rest in peace, dear brother. You will always be in our hearts and memories.
