Sodus: Passed away peacefully June 30th, 2013 at the age of 97. Predeceased by his wife Doris and by brothers John & Adrian. Samuel is survived by his children Gary (Liz), Tom (Beverly); his beloved grandsons Timothy (Lauren), Jason (Maria); his sister Charles (Nancy) Bryant; brother in law William (Francis) Blankenberg; several nieces & nephews.
Sam made a living with his hands from the land as a potato farmer. He also worked many years for Burnwell Gas. He belonged to the Odd Fellow Lodge for over 50 yrs. He loved spending time with his grandson, fishing with his son, Gary and playing cards. Sam will be remembered as a good, kind and gentle man. There will be a private service for the family Monday July 8th. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
