Claudia DeBadts

Sodus: 

Claudia DeBadts, 75, passed away peacefully, December 2, 2023 at Rochester General Hospital, after a long illness. 

Private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of her family in the Sodus Rural Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Claudia’s life, Friday, December 8th at 4PM, at the Wallington Fire Department, 7863 Ridge Road, Sodus. 

Claudia was born May 6, 1948, in Auburn, the daughter of Claude Ingersoll and Adeline (Ingesoll) Crawshaw.  She was happiest spending time with family. 

Claudia is survived by her mother, Adeline Crawshaw: her children: Valerie (Bruce) Wallace, Victoria (Matt) Trimble and Douglas (Dashawna) DeBadts:  grandchildren: Danielle, Ashley, Taylor-Lyn, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Kori and Ryan:  great-grandchildren: Ella, Elise, Harper, Makenzie and Elora: siblings: Patricia (Bill) Shiebler, Margaret (Tim) Davenport, Kathleen (Doug) VanAcker, Linda (Terry) Clark, Tom (Maria), Daniel (Lori), Douglas and Kevin Ingersoll: many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by her father, Claude Ingersoll. 

The family requests donations in Claudia’s memory be sent to The Sodus Boosters Club, c/o Sodus Central School, Sodus, NY  14551.
