Adeline graduated from Hannibal High School and later married Claude Ingersoll. Claude and Adeline moved to Sodus Point in 1948, shortly after the arrival of their first child.  They went on to have 8 more children and raise them in Sodus Point. Claude passed away in 1970.

In 1982 Adeline married William Crawshaw. Together they owned and operated a Motel in Farmington, NY.  William passed away in 1994.

Adeline is survived by her children; Thomas (Maria) Ingersoll, Patricia (William) Shiebler, Daniel (Loretta) Ingersoll, Margaret (Timothy) Davenport, Kathleen (Douglas) VanAcker, Douglas Ingersoll, Linda (Terry) Clark and Kevin Ingersoll; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Many very special nieces and nephews.

Adeline's favorite thing in life were people.  She loved meeting people, being with people and helping people.  There was nothing that she enjoyed more than time with family and friends.

Adeline's primary hobby were crocheting.  She crocheted countless Afghans, baby blankets, slippers, ornaments, doilies and family name heirlooms.  Adeline would never accept money for her crocheting but would donate them for fundraisers and other situations where there was a need.

Among Adeline's other hobbies were following NY Yankees and Jim Boeheim's Syracuse Orangemen.

After retiring, Adeline volunteered for the Sodus Nutrition Program and Meals on Wheels.

Predeceased by her daughter Claudia DeBadts; grandson Bryce Sears; sister Margaret Lambert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Phyllis and John (Jack) and Patricia Wasson.
