Estella (Moore) Harris

Estella Harris, age 78, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

Estella was born January 31st, 1946, in Mississippi, the daughter of the late LC and Corrina (Thames) Moore. Estella grew up in Hickory Mississippi. She was a home health aide for TLC in Rochester where she would go to people’s houses to care for them.

Estella will be missed by her children Travis (Janethel) Harris and Tanisha Harris; her sister Tracye Moore who was also like a daughter to Estella; her sister Monica (Roger) McConnell; her brother Jerry (Katherine) Moore; her 5 grandchildren Dyasia Harris, Trevon Harris, Trinahtye Prior, Zaire Harris, and Heavyn Harris; and 1 great grandchild Terron Smith and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Estella is predeceased by her brothers Raymond L. Moore, Charles W. Moore, Cloise Moore, and Denver R. Moore.

A Celebration of Estella’s life will be Saturday, June 29 from 11 – noon at Redeem Bethel Church 4496 NY 104 Williamson, NY. A funeral service will follow at noon – 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
