Alicia Rae Farr

Alicia Rae Farr, age 50, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 26, 2024, at Upstate Medical Hospital.

Friends and family are invited to call, Saturday, September 7 from 1 PM – 3 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street, Savannah. A memorial service will follow at 3 at the funeral home.  A celebration of her life will continue, with a dish to pass, at the Savannah Fire Department, 1770 NY-89, Savannah.  

Alicia was born October 24, 1973 in Sodus NY, the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Sharon Ann (Fowler) Farr.  She was a high school graduate of Port Byron Central School. She resided in Savannah, NY and worked as a home health aide for many years and was her grandchildren’s daycare provider.

Alicia absolutely loved all of her grandchildren, her dog Khloey, cooking and being outdoors.

Alicia is survived by her daughters Erica (Sean) Helmick and Emily Bell; sons Mathew (Marcie Steinhoour) and Brandon Bell; grandchildren, Arianna, Dominic, Serenity, Junior, Sophia and baby SJ;  her brother Robert Farr; extended grandchildren Logan, Olivia and Noah; the father of her children Matt Bell who has been her best friend for over 30 years.
