Karen A. Lapp, 66, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, unexpectedly at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
There will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
Karen was born September 6, 1958 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Chester F. and Dolores S. (Maholick) Sakowski. She was a high school graduate however being disabled she was not currently employed. She loved her cats, shopping for her family and she enjoyed cooking and feeding people.
Karen is survived by her daughter Kari; son Thomas; sisters Theresa (Gary) King, Lori (Tom) Whitcomb and Susan Sakowski; brothers Chet, Michael and Tim Sakowski; grandchildren Sophia, Parker, Blake and Brodie.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother Tom, niece Hayley and great-niece Taylor.
