Wolcott: “ Jake” Minier age 86 died Friday 8-9-13. Jake was born 9-15-26 in Butler, NY. Surviving is his wife of 67 years Phyllis Minier, daughter Daphne (Charles) Dudus, Wolcott; Son Don (Carol) Minier, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Grandchildren: Vince (Diane), Lisa (Brad), Lisa (Bob), Joseph, Adam (Kristen), Kristine (Eric), Melissa (Michael) and Misty; 16 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Ruth (Charles) Hixon, Dorothy (Richard(Deceased) Bastian, Shirley Farnsworth; Brother Gordon (Ann) Minier. Jake was predeceased by his parents Melvin and Pearl Minier; sisters: Marie (Ray) Doane, Emily (Marcel) Schram; brothers: Howard (Marie) Minier, Bob (Shirley) Minier and Burton (Elaine) Minier.
Calling hours Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street, Wolcott. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Norton Funeral Home, Wolcott.
