Lois W. Winslow

 

Lois W. Winslow, age 92, of Rochester N.Y. passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 10th, 2024.

Lois was born in South Butler on June 22, 1932, to Bernice (Fry) Williams and James Howard Williams.

Lois grew up in South Butler with her three sisters, Joyce, Noreen and Rose

Lois attended Wolcott High School, graduating in 1950. After high school, Lois worked several secretarial office jobs, including with the Harris Corporation, now known as L3 Harris. She furthered her education, attending Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology studying art, and obtaining a liberal arts degree.

Lois enjoyed many European and National trips over many years with family and friends.

Lois also enjoyed volunteering with WXXI, Blessed Sacrament Church, Park-Meigs Association and the Monroe County Board of Elections.

Lois was preceded by her parents and sister Noreen McDonald. She is survived by sisters Rose Finnegan, Joyce (Louis) Molisani and many nieces, nephews and long fast friends.

On Tuesday, Oct 22  , 10:00 am., there will be a funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford Street, Rochester, New York 14607, a burial shorty after at the the South Butler Cemetery.
