Peter “Grump II” J. Dean

Peter Dean, 72, passed away peacefully Friday morning, October 18, 2024 at his home with his loving and supportive family by his side.

There will be no public calling hours.  A private graveside service will be in the Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

Peter was born March 7, 1952 in Lyons the son of the late Leslie “Grump 1” and Doris (Cahoon) Dean.  He was a 1970 Graduate of North Rose/Wolcott High School. Until his retirement he worked as a machinist at Xerox in Webster for 38 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, snowmobiling and working on cars.

Peter is survived by his children Brenda Mitchell and Corey Dean; grandchildren Joshua Andrus, Avery Mitchell and Cecilia and Axton Dean; great grandson Logan Andrus; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Penny C. (Vezzose), who passed away March 18, 2024.
