Barbara A. (Randolph) Gallant

Barbara Gallant, 86, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Laurel House Comfort Care Home, Newark.

Barb was born on February 11, 1938, in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Mildred J. (Van de Mar) Randolph. Until her retirement, in 1975, Barb worked as a secretary for the Allstate Insurance Co., in Rochester, NY. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Joe to Maine and sewing and knitting.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph, children: Roy (Jackie) Malone of New Jersey, Kirby (Patricia) Santillo of Webster, Valerie (Michael Walker) Goodness of Fairport, Roger (Pamela) Gallant of Red Creek. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Hastings and sons, Keith Gallant and Danny Gallant and brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin (Laura) Randolph and Walter (Shirley) Randolph.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Barb’s family request memorial contributions be directed to: Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark, NY 14513. A small gesture for the loving care they showed Barb.
