Nettie Nickles, 72, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Clifton Springs Hospital.

 
The family requests donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, c/o American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD  21741.

 
Nettie was born July 26, 1952 in Dundee, the daughter of the late Norman and Isabelle V. (Farley) McCloud. She worked as an Apple Packer at Empire Farms until her retirement in Spring of 2024. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, great grandchildren and camping with the family.

 
Nettie is survived by the father of her children William (Judy Pickard) Nickles; her children Frank (Rhoda) Nickles and William (Liz Efaw) Nickles, Doris (Daniel) Whitt and Tammy (Jeremy) Stanley; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 
She is preceded in death by her sisters Sharon Tohafjian, Bonnie (George) Adams and Diane Tanner; brothers Robert, Gene (Sharon), Skip, George (Trudy), James (Lucile) and Richard Youngs, Jake (Charlene) McCloud and a baby brother.

 
In celebration of our mom, Nettie Nickles, we are having a get together at the Rose Community Building, 10734 School St. Rose, New York, on November 16, 2024.  Friends and family are invited to call from 11am to 1pm.  A celebration of her life and sharing stories of love will be held from 1pm until 3pm.  We will provide meat and cheese trays, plates, silverware and napkins.  If you can bring a dish, please let us know as soon as possible so we know what else we will have to provide.  Any flowers can be delivered to The Community Building on the 16th after 10 am.
