Obituary of Ronald Edward Tellier

Newark: Ronald E. Tellier, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on Friday November 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. As per Ron’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Ron was born August 2, 1943, in Newark to Abram James and Sarah Benjamin Tellier. He spent his life in Newark working first at his dad’s Rotary gas station, then at the Ford garage, and finally retiring as head mechanic at the Newark bus garage. Ron loved spending time with his family at his beloved camp in the Adirondacks, and on his farm in Fairville. He was a strong quiet man who spent his life taking care of the people he loved and cared about. Ron is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna (Lovejoy) Tellier; his beloved children Patricia (Geno) Phillips and Patrick (Jennifer) Tellier; his cherished grandchildren Justin, Annabella, Clay, Ian, and Joel; siblings Richard Tellier, Cecilia Tellier Myrick (John) Farrell, Eugene Tellier; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and extended family who had all felt his love and protection throughout the years. Ron was predeceased by his father and mother, Abram and Sarah Tellier, several aunts and uncles.
