Butler: Age 75, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 3, 2014 at her home in Butler. Born in 1938 in Lyons, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Wideman Riebsame. Marcia had been employed from 1972 to 1997 at the Wayne County Office of Sheriff, where she was a dispatcher in the Communications Division.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Norman H. VanDeusen on October 20, 2012, and by her brother Edward Riebsame. Marcia is survived by two nieces, Virginia Smith and Shawn Williams as well as friends in the Wolcott and Lyons area.
Visitation will not be observed. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of her family at the Rose Cemetery on Rt. 414. Those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Wolcott.
