Obituary of Walter K. Roloson

<p>Sodus: March 12<sup>th</sup> at age 79. Walter is survived by his beloved companion Elaine Vanderzille; his children Walter Jr. (Kirsten), William (Nancy), Cheri Roloson (Burt Madison), Sue (Greg) Scalfaro, and Andy (Kelly); ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Mary and Ann Roloson. He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Viola Roloson; and by brothers Doug, Ted, and Carl Roloson.</p>

<p>Walt served with the U.S. Marine Corps in the early fifties. He retired from Xerox in Webster where he had been employed as an HVAC Technician. Walt was a well known horse whisperer, wood carver, enjoyed fishing, riding and driving horses, spending time with his family, and was a terrible poker player.</p>
<p> </p>
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 29<sup>th</sup>, 10 a.m. at the Sodus United Third Methodist Church, 58 West Main Street in Sodus. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be sent to the Sodus United Third Methodist Church, or to a charity of one’s choice.
