Sodus: Thursday July 24th, age 55, following a lengthy illness. A long time area farmer, Gene is survived by his son Jeramy (Pam) Barclay; grandsons Michael, Cody and Zackery; brother Larry (Linda) Barclay; sisters Odessa (Jim) Pettit and Shirley Wren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gene was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Eleanor Barclay and by sister Betty Foote.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday August 1st, at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Gene may be directed to the Sodus Center Fire Department. Arr: Norton Funeral Home.
