Clyde: Passed away at home on Saturday May 10th, age 72, following a brief illness. Jim is survived by his wife Veronica Williams of 51 years; his children Kathleen Williams (Mark LaDue), Karen (Michael) Harper, David Williams, Barbara (Gary) Phillips; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother Robert Williams; sister and brother in-laws Barbara (William) Mead, Henry “Hank” (Kathy) Williams, James (Diane) Williams, John (Lisa) Williams. Jim was predeceased by his parents Emmett and Letha Brown Williams, and special mother in law Agnes Williams.
Jim was a retiree of the Wayne County Office of Sheriff, where he served for 23 years as a Corrections Officer. He had previously been employed at Sylvania in Seneca Falls.
At his request, visitation will not be observed, and there will be no services. Those wishing may send a memorial contribution in Jim’s memory to either Lifetime Care, 800 West Miller Street, Newark, NY 14513; or to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
