Obituary of Mary Jane Putman

Sodus Center: Passed away at her home on Tuesday June 17, 2014, at the age of 77. Mary Jane is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dwight “Skip” Putman; her children Richard Ross of Natural Bridge, Ronald Ross of North Rose, and Susan (Robert) Carlin of Denver, CO.; grandchildren Trish (Bryan) Kindred, Tara Carlin, Lisa (Michael) Domalski, Kara (Bradley) Shanaman, and Renee Ross; great-grandchildren Brayden Kindred, Jeremiah Richard Domalski, Hunter Allen Shanaman; sisters Anna Kelly of Sodus Center, and Shirley Bushart of Williamson; several nieces and nephews; special nephew Edward Foote Jr. of Lyons. Mary Jane is predeceased by her first husband Robert Ross; her parents William "Samuel" and Mary Foote; brothers Robert, Edward, and Wilford Foote. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday June 22nd from 5-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus, where her funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Baptist Rural Cemetery in Sodus Center. A reception for family and friends will be held immediately following the graveside committal at the Sodus Center Fire Department. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Sodus Center Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary, of which Mary Jane was a charter member.
