Belchertown, MA/Clyde: Charles N. Colasurdo, 63, of Belchertown, MA passed away on May 25, 2014 following a long battle with cancer.
He was born January 11, 1951 in Lyons, the eldest son of Anthony and Alice Winter Colasurdo of Clyde.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years Kathleen (O'Toole) Colasurdo and his four sons, Ryan (Kate), Kevin (Raquel), Michael and Brendan.
Charles is also survived by his mother, Alice Winter Colasurdo; three siblings Karlene (Richard) Freyn of Palmyra, Steve (Louise) Colasurdo and their sons Christopher and Daniel all of Shortsville, Diane Colasurdo of Geneva. Charles leaves behind several cousins, nephews and nieces, and many friends throughout the country.
Chuck was employed as an inventory accountant for Gulf Oil in Framingham, MA.
Chuck will always be remembered as a compassionate husband, father, son, and brother. He had an unforgettable smile, a contagious laugh, and was a Yankee fan.
A Memorial Mass in conjunction with his father Anthony’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 12th at St. John’s Catholic Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish), 144 Sodus Street, Clyde. Fr. Augustine Chumo will be the celebrant.
