Sodus Point: Promoted to Glory on Saturday August 23rd at age 92, surrounded by her loving family. Virginia is survived by her children Stephen (Janice) Bohrer of Spokane, WA, Ruth (Harry) Nunn of Ontario, Canada, Esther (Charles) Catchpole of Sodus Point, Miriam (Robert) Reynolds of Wolcott & Judith (Burt) Bullard of Sodus; 23 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Walter Bohrer on August 29, 1987.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. Virginia’s funeral will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. from the Alton Gospel Tabernacle, which was co-founded by Virginia’s parents. Interment will be at the York Settlement Cemetery. Memorials may be directed in Virginia’s name to the Alton Gospel Tabernacle, PO Box 201, Alton, NY 14413, or to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC, 28607-3000.
