Butler: Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at the age of 72. A lifelong resident of Butler, he lived on the family farm. Bert is survived by his wife of 50 years Joyce Salerno; children Eric (Rhonda) Everhart and son Hunter, Michelle (Chris) Reed and children Shueston, Kaleb, and Bastian; daughter Stacey Everhart; sisters Barbara Miller, and Lois (Richard) Benham.
Bert was the son of Frank and Ruth Everhart. He had been employed for 18 years at Gould’s Pumps in Seneca Falls, additionally he served from 1993 to the present as a Councilman for the Town of Butler.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday July 28th, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street, Wolcott, where a funeral service will be held following visitation. Interment at the Butler-Savannah Cemetery will be private.
