Clyde: Anna Marie White, age 84, passed away on Wednesday August 13th at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Anna was born in Clyde in 1930, she was the daughter of Jacky and Bridget DiSanto Marcella. She was a beautician who had worked at the Newark Developmental Center, retiring in 1985.
Anna is survived by her daughter-in-law Barbara White; grandchildren Jack (Amanda) White III of Savannah, Bobbi Jo (Phillip) Arliss of Clyde, and Kelly Jo (Tony) Varalli of Clyde; six great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; nieces; nephews; sisters Florence Kratzer and Mildred Smith. She was predeceased by her husband Jacky White, son Jacky White Jr., and by brother George Marcella.
Visitation will not be observed. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday August 24th, 1 p.m. at the Savannah Fire Department on Route 89. Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are with the Norton Funeral Home of Savannah.
