Wallington: Passed away on Sunday August 17th. Richard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret; children Frederick Stacy, Wanda (Gary) Turner, Sue (Leon) Turner Jr., Calvin (Carol) Grant, Velma (Bill) Frank, and Van Grant; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; brothers Ray (Olga) Grant, and Dale (Noreen) Grant; sister Darlene Reome; sister-in-law Linda Grant; several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Helen Grant; brother Carl Grant; sisters Muriel Reyome, and Myrtle Reome; daughter-in-law Kathy Stacy.
Visitation will be Friday August 22nd, from 5-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday August 23rd at Lakeview Cemetery in Pultneyville.
Richard’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the members of the Alton and Sodus Center Fire Departments, and a special thanks to grandson Chris Bornheimer.
