Williamson: Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 27, 2014, age 52, at her residence. Linda received her R.N. Degree in South Carolina, later receiving her Masters Degree at the University of Rochester. She was a Nurse Practitioner who was employed at Rochester General Hospital.
Linda is survived by her mother Janet (Gordon) Kaufman; her father Lawrence (Wendy) VanMort; sisters Christie (John) Garbin, and Vicki (Aaron) Parsons; niece and nephews Nick, Casey, Corrado, Travis, and Shane; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friend Annelle Coleman. Linda was predeceased by her sister Joyce VanMort.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday September 6th, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 50 Spencer Street in Lyons. Memorials in Linda’s memory may be directed to the Martha Circle at the church, or to the Arthritis Foundation, 3300 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
