Sodus: Passed away on Tuesday September 9, 2008, at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Thelma; children Pamella Dixon of Jamaica, Joy (Trevor) Supersad of Williamson, Jennifer Dixon of Williamson and Keba (Delroy) Webb of Sodus; grandchildren Marva, Lorraine, Michael, Eileen, Kim, Anthony, Sanjay, Yolanda, Joshua, Elora, Derry, Faith, Shawn and Alexia; great-grandchildren Hayden and Michael; sister Lorna; brothers Vincent, Basil and Leonard; several nieces and nephews. Cecil was predeceased by his parents Evelyn and Kathleen Powell Dixon.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday September 19th, 4 – 8 p.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. His funeral will be Saturday, September 20th, 1 p.m. from the First Presbyterian Church, 31 West Main Street in Sodus. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
