Obituary of Lynne L. Mattice (Lockwood)

Sodus: Passed away suddenly on Sunday September 21st at age 48. Lynne was born September 24th, 1965 in Rochester, but lived most of her life between Sodus and Sodus Point. Lynne loved so many things about life, she loved native flowers, sleeping under the stars on the trampoline, thunderstorms, animals, but mostly she loved people. She had such a happy-silly spirit about her that was contagious. It was impossible to be sad around Lynne. She wouldn’t have it! She loved to make people laugh, smile, be happy, and always had a hug ready for you! She hated shoes, cotton, and hot flashes! Lynne was predeceased by her father Douglas L. Lockwood Sr. only three weeks ago, and step-brother Shanon Branch. She is survived by sons Joshua (Abby) Hogan, and Austin Hogan; her mother Sally (Lloyd) Dickinson; step-mother Bonnie Branch; brother Doug (Leeanne) Lockwood; sisters Dawn (Rusty) Lockwood, Laurie (Terry) Graffius, and Heidi (Ryan) Karpp; grandchildren Carson and Ailey; nieces Danielle and MacKenzie; nephews Terry Jr., Ted, Greg, Nathan, Brody, and Seth. There will be no prior visitation, interment will be private. A celebration of Lynne’s life will be Sunday, September 28th beginning at 2 p.m. at the Banquet Room at Captain Jack’s in Sodus Point.
