Sodus: Passed away on Tuesday September 30th, age 85, at his residence surrounded by his family. Sam was predeceased by his wife Madaline in 2005, and by brother Bernard Johnson. He is survived by his children Jack (Teresa) Johnson and Susan Orbaker of Williamson, Mark (Cathy) Johnson and Jane (Andrew) Wilbur of Sodus; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother Sherwood (Cleall) Johnson, sisters Lenora Lockwood and Patricia (Fred) Derks; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11 a.m. at the First Reformed Church, Maple Avenue in Sodus. Interment will follow at the Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to either the First Reformed Church of Sodus, or to Lifetime Care Hospice.
