Sodus: Passed away on Tuesday October 21st, age 59. Denise is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Mark Van Cuyck; son Christopher Bacon; daughter Jennifer (Wayne) Quackenbush; step sons Mark L. (Stephanie) Van Cuyck and Mitchell Van Cuyck; her mother Betty Crocker; sisters Carol (Dick) DeVolder and Celeste (Dan) Zimmer; mother and father-in- law Jay and Joyce Van Cuyck; brothers-in-law Jay, John, James (Tracy), Michael (Chris); sisters-in-law Michelle Van Cuyck (Todd Lupo) and Cindy (David) Munnings; six grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. For the past 22 years Denise was a nurse who had worked at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and at other area health care facilities. Visitation will be Friday October 31st from 3-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Funeral services will be Saturday November 1st, 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
