Wolcott: Passed away on November 4th, age 77 following a brief illness. Bert is survived by his wife of 27 years Paula; his children James Yeara, John (Deb) Yeara, Dan Yeara, Darrell Yeara, Derek (Stacey) Yeara, David Dapolito, Bob (Laurie) Demass, and Ron (Rosanne) Demass; grandchildren Branden Demass, Stacy Demass, Brad Demass, Kristy Demass (Trever Griffin), Russ (Gunsah) Patchett, Andy (Morgan) Patchett, Cassie Yeara, Travis Yeara, Ian Yeara, Jinny Yeara, and Alice Yeara; great-grandchildren Carter Griffin, Gabriella Patchett, Andrew Patchett, and Edith Nelsen; mother-in-law Catherine Hyde; brother and sister in law Russ and Deb Hyde. Bert is predeceased by his parents Bert Yeara and Loella Fields; step mother Ruby Tallman; sister Betty (Jess) Pollay; father-in-law Donald Hyde; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday November 8th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral service following at Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lakeshore Volunteer Ambulance, 5841 New Hartford Street in Wolcott, NY 14590, or to Lifetime Care, 800 West Miller Street in Newark, NY 14513.
