Rose: Ruth A. Austin, age 87 passed away on November 27th in Rochester General Hospital. Ruth is survived by her brother Earl (Lucy) Austin, of Rose; nephews: Chris (Eve) Austin and Jamy (Nicole) Austin; sister in-law Millie Austin of Savannah; and several other nieces and nephews; her dog “Little Ruth” and her special friend Linda Hayes. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Edith and William Austin, and by brothers Kenny, Nathan and Bill. Before her retirement Ruth was employed for many years at Parker-Hannifin in Lyons.
Memorial contributions in Ruth’s memory may be directed to the Rose Fire Department Ambulance, P.O. Box 73, Rose, NY 14542. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 6th, 2 p.m. at the Spirit and Truth Calvary Chapel, 6058 Lake Ave. in Wolcott. Arrangements: Norton Funeral Home of Wolcott.
