SODUS: David W. Youngman age 26, passed away unexpectedly on November 27th. He was born on November 29, 1987 in Sodus. He is survived by his mother: Linda (Charles) (Grinnell) Youngman of Sodus; his father: Wayne (Shari) Youngman of Sodus; brother: Tim (Kim) Youngman of Newark; sisters: Jamie Rich, Jessica Scheid; step-brothers: Tim Scheid (Sarah Brown), Michael Ward; grandparents: Gordon (Barbara) Youngman of Wolcott, Marie Grinnell of Sodus, Lyle (Linda) Grinnell of Waterloo; Great-grandmother Anna Kelly of Sodus; companion and best friend Erin Turner of Sodus; many aunts, uncles, cousins; co-workers at: Upstate Refractory Services in Newark, Alley Sports Bar (Cherry Lanes) in Sodus , Stevenson’s Airport Bar and Restaurant in Wallington and Wagers Apple Store in Red Creek.
David enjoyed bowling, karaoke, golf, playing darts and camping at Brown Tract Pond with family and friends. At Christmas David would dress up as Santa and go to family and friends homes to pass out candy canes. He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold.
Friends may call Friday December 5th from 5 until 9 at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Baptist Rural Cemetery at a later date.
