Sodus Center: Passed away on Monday December 15th at age 77. Beverly is survived by her children; Matthew (Sonia) Smith of El Paso, TX, Debra (Thorne) VanDerBroek of Sodus Center, Peter (Susan) Smith of Macedon, Faith (Tom) Stevenson of Sodus; 36 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister Eleanor Hood of Sodus Center; brothers Everett Davis of Colorado Springs, and Lyle Davis of Cayuga; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Harland Smith, son Michael Smith Sr., brothers Durwood Davis, Raymond Davis Jr., and Ronald Davis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd, from 1-3 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus, where her funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of Bev’s family at the South Sodus Cemetery. A reception will follow the funeral at Stevenson’s Airport Bar & Grill, 7740 Ridge Road, Sodus. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Bev’s memory to the Sodus Center Fire Department Ambulance, 5521 Main Street, Sodus, 14551.
