Sodus/Lakeland, FL: Passed away on Thursday June 2, 2011, age 93 in Lakeland, FL. Bill is survived by his children, Joyce Moredock (Don Dugas), Richard (Cindy) Tack and Marilyn (Gerald) DeMarree; grandchildren Bridget Henry, Kevin Tack, Tammi Ayotte, Scott Tack, Kenneth DeMarree, Nicole Young and Daniel DeMarree; 14 great-grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 69 years Pauline in 2007, and daughter Shirley Farron in 2010. Bill was a long time area fruit and vegetable grower, as well as being a snowmobile enthusiast.
Visitation will not be observed. Bill's Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 11th, at 2 p.m. from the First United Presbyterian Church, 31 West Main Street, Sodus. Interment will follow at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bill should be directed to either the First United Presbyterian Church, or the Sodus Center Fire Department.
